Presented alongside two wall drawings by Sol LeWitt\, the exhibition considers the enduring influence of conceptual practices that separate conception from execution\, embrace collaboration\, and invite variation within predetermined structures. DESCRIPTION:Please join the Vicki Myhren Gallery for an evening of conversation and music to accompany the exhibition A System In Place: In Dialogue with Sol LeWitt.  \n\n\n\nThe program will feature a performance of composer Alvin Lucier’s Panorama by two musicians from DU’s Lamont School of Music. LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #730––which is on view at the Vicki Myhren Gallery––was a response to this composition by Lucier\, both of which were inspired by the Zug mountain range.  \n\n\n\nThe performance will be followed by a lecture from Dean Sobel\, Professor of the Practice of Art History & Museum Studies and founding director of the Clyfford Still Museum.  \n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public.
